Searching for Approvals and eSignatures in Google Drive

You can request approvals and add eSignatures to your Google documents. You can learn more about this in our 'How to use eSignature in Google Docs' post


The quickest way to find documents awaiting your approval, or even those you have sent out for approval, is to use the advanced search in Google Drive.


Step 1 - Open Google Drive


Select the advanced search option to the right of the search box.

Step 2 - One of the options on the advanced search is 'Awaiting my approval' and 'Requested by me'. Select one or both of these and click Search.

You can also fill in other search fields to narrow down the search if looking for a specific request.


Your results will appear, and you can work through the outstanding documents.
