How to Create Presentations Using Gemini Canvas

You can create presentations straight from the Gemini app and export to Google Slides; now that's a time saver.


Here's our quick guide on how to do it.


Step 1 - Open a new chat in the Gemini app and select the Canvas tool.

You can select Canvas by clicking the + icon and selecting 'Canvas' from the drop-down.


You'll know Gemini is utilising Canvas because you will see it on the chat bar.

Step 2 - Enter a prompt to describe the presentation.


Make sure to specify you want to create a presentation, as Canvas can be used for various types of content. Remember, you can attach files to provide more information.

Step 3 - Once the presentation has been created, it can be exported to Slides or downloaded as a PDF.


Open the presentation directly in Google Slides to edit design themes, add transitions, or present live.
