In Google Sheets, you can view the whole version history of a Sheet or you can view a specific cell, this is called the 'Edit history'.
Step 1 - Open your Google Sheet, right-click on the cell you want to view the edit history of and select 'Show edit history'.

Step 2 - The edit history will be shown, showing the most recent first.

Step 3 - To view previous edits use the arrows in the top right of the Edit history box.
