How to Change the Page Background Colour in Google Docs

Changing the background colour of your Google document is one of the easiest and quickest ways to customise your Doc.
While we are all used to white documents, longer docs can sometimes be more readable with a darker background, or you might be creating an eye-catching brand marketing doc you want to jazz up!
Step 1 - Open your Google Doc and select the File menu
Step 2 - From the File menu, select 'Page setup'

Step 3 - The page setup options box will appear, and you can click the colour button to the right of the paper size dropdown.

We like everything to be CloudShed pink, so we use the custom option to add our hex code or the dropper icon to add our pink!
Don't forget to click 'OK' to save the changes and change that background colour.
