Create Presentation Slides with Gemini in Google Slides

To save time when creating slide decks, you can use Gemini in Google Slides to develop slides for you.


Step 1 - Access Gemini in the top right of the Slides screen


If there is content already in your slide deck, Gemini will start to summarise this for you.

Step 2 - To generate a slide, enter a prompt in the Gemini box.


Below is an example of us creating a summary slide for our new cookie flavour launch presentation.

You can create a slide using information from a different document, simply write your prompt 'Create a slide listing our cookie flavours' and add @thedocument name.


Step 3 - Gemini will take a minute (or so) to create a slide with your requirements.


You then have the option to insert the slide into the deck or ask Gemini to retry.

Once you have added the slide, you can edit it, for example, if it doesn't match your theme, you can customise it.
