What is Deep Research in Gemini?

Deep Research is a feature in Gemini Advanced. Google view it as your personal research assistant that is designed to save you hours!


Step 1 - Open Gemini Advanced and click the Deep research button in the prompt box.

Step 2 - Tell Gemini the topic you would like it to research. It will then come back with a plan. You can edit the plan or click ‘Start research.’

Step 3 - It will show its thinking and what websites, etc, it is researching. Once its research is complete, it will create a report which you can open in Google Docs.
