The Ask Gemini Menu in Google Sheets

As Gemini evolves, it can be difficult to know what its capabilities are.
The ‘Ask Gemini’ menu in Google Sheets will show examples of Gemini’s capabilities and help us get started with the right prompt.
Step 1 - Open your spreadsheet and go to the drop-down menu ‘Ask Gemini’
The first section contains prompts that can be entered in the Gemini side panel. The prompt examples will be simple. For instance, ‘Create a Pivot table for this data’.
However, you can then add specificity. For example, ‘Create a pivot table to show the count of each Sales Rep’.
The other options in the ‘Ask Gemini’ menu will demonstrate ways we can use the AI function to summarise and categorise data. This gives you some great ideas and a starting point for how you can utilise Gemini in Google Sheets.
