How to add a Video to a Google Slides Presentation

Did you know you can add YouTube and Google Drive videos to your Google Slides Presentation? It's quick and easy.


Step 1 - Open your Google Slide deck and click 'Insert' and 'Video'.

Step 2 - If you would like to search YouTube for a video keep the 'YouTube' tab and use the search box at the top. If you would like to search your Google Drive, click that tab.

Step 3 - We have searched CloudShed in the YouTube tab and can now scroll through and select the video we want to add, then click 'Insert'.

Step 4 - Your video will be added to the presentation and you can use the Format pane to choose how you would like it to be played and what section of the video. You can also mute audio, change size and rotation, position, add shadow and alt text.
