How to Freeze Rows or Columns in Google Sheets

It can be useful to pin your top row of data or first column of data, so that when you scroll, your data in those rows and columns will be frozen.


You can do this by freezing rows or columns in Google Sheets.


Step 1 - In your Google Sheet, select the 'View' menu and click the 'freeze' menu.


You can select which rows or columns you would like to freeze; it doesn't have to be just the first one.

You can also do this by selecting a row, right-clicking to open the menu, clicking 'View more row actions' and selecting freeze.
